Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Discover this delightful Chocolate Avocado Mousse, a nutritious take on the traditional chocolate pudding, that with nourish your body and satisfy your taste buds.


For a thicker texture, chill the mousse for a few hours to attain a dense, ganache-like consistency. This mousse is easy to prepare, delicious, satisfying, and smooth. The taste of avocado is entirely masked, making it an excellent way to sneak nourishing nutrients into little one's diets as well.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large avocados, pitted and flesh scooped out
  • ¼ cup + 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 8-12 medjool dates (depending on desired sweetness)
  • ½ tsp natural vanilla paste
  • Pinch salt
  • Optional: 1-2 Tbsp water

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, gradually add the water to help blend the mixture.
  2. Spoon into serving bowls or jars and refrigerate for 10 minutes, then serve cold.

Optional: For a visual delight, garnish with fresh mint leaves, fresh berries, or chopped nuts (if nut tolerant).
