Breakfast Sausage Patties

Protein in the morning is always a good set up for the day. Made without onion or garlic these chicken & pork breakfast patties can be eaten hot or cold with sides of any favourite breakfast vegetables. A great weekend brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ kg ground pork
  • ½ kg ground chicken

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, add pork, chicken and all spices. Use your hands to mix well and form into patties.
  2. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat, add patties and cook for 5 mins each side or until done.
